With our in-house design team, we are able to simulate the airflow in order to make sure even distribution and coverage of the entire product. Using the same software our team can take known data on the thermal properties of the product, to accurately simulate how long it will take to cool/freeze.
Edge Drive Spiral Freezers
James Mae Refrigeration design and build compact single spiral freezers with both the infeed and the outfeed at low level.
Within our Refrigeration division, we have developed some ground-breaking innovations. Due to extensive knowledge of common factory issues, our group have designed and installed a number of spiral conveyor systems. Our unique edge drive system negates the need for conventional drum drive spirals, which all have inherent issues, including;

Infeed and outfeed conveyors at two different levels
To achieve infeed and outfeed at the same height, two spirals have to be install, taking up huge amounts of factory space
The Edge Drive system, means there is no central drum, and we can have both the infeed and outfeed conveyors at the same height, either at low level or high level. Because of the edge drive system, only one spiral assembly is required which can give the same infeed and outfeed heights, which halves the amount of shop floor space required.
